Recuwaste, Mataró-Barcelona (ES)

RECUWASTE is the reference congress in resource and waste management, organized by Maresme Circular, the brand of the Maresme Consortium for Municipal Solid Waste Treatment, with the collaboration of other entities, including the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Diputació de Barcelona.

The congress will address the Resource Economy, with a prospective vision that will help us to understand the changes and how they will impact us, and how it will require all actors -from administrations, companies and consumers- to think, work and act otherwise.

Hand in hand with top-level speakers and industry experts we will share knowledge, strategies and innovative technologies that are transforming waste management around the world. There will be tables and presentations on waste as resources, the materials crisis, energy and decarbonisation, economic instruments in municipal waste management, textiles, Industry 4.0 and waste management, technologies of future for decarbonisation and international experiences of waste prevention and reuse.

Likewise, we will have an inspiring conference on growth and well-being.

And throughout the congress there will be an exhibition of posters on Circular Economy Solutions/Projects for Municipal Waste Management that will qualify for the Alfonso Maíllo Award, as well as an exhibition of innovative machinery for municipal cleaning and waste collection services.
